Features
-The X-rite 939 calculates dozens of color expressions including L*a*b*, density, opacity, color strength and dozens of other useful metrics. Each one is presented using the large graphical display and intuitive keypad.

-X-Rite’s 939 Spectrodensitometer is perhaps the most precise, intelligent QC tool for measuring and controlling color in your printing, packaging, converting, ink formulation or digital imaging operations

-The X-rite 939 also provides unique spectral density and dot area function for use with special colors or HiFi printing. On board averaging gives summary information at-a-glance, and the graphing display can present density or spectral data graphically. Use these unique, multipurpose capabilities to minimize color mismatches and avoid costly errors by making clear decisions based on the right data, at any location in the prepress or printing process.

-Automatic Shut-Off To increase battery life, the instrument automatically turns itself off if it is not used within a user-defined time—between 10 and 240 seconds. See Setting Instrument Configuration, Section Four for more information. The instrument turns back on whenever a key is pressed, a measurement is taken, or the adapter is plugged in.

-Graphic Display A high contrast, 256 x 128 pixel graphics display provides a versatile means of displaying the measured data.

Indicator Light A multi-color LED at the top of the instrument provides visual feedback on the status of measurements.

Quick Color Compare An operator can take a quick measurement and comparison of two colors. This allows the instrument to be used for taking quality control readings in a time-efficient manner without the necessity of creating tolerances.
